SANDBLASTING / MICROBLASTING
The micro sand blaster, is used to remove decay without weakening the tooth! It cannot be used for every cavity, but it can be used in some cases – preventing the need for drilling!
For most cases, no anesthetic is required!!!
HOW DOES THE SAND BLASTER WORK?
- The decay is isolated and assessed by Dr. John to see if it can be eliminated with the micro blaster
- The filling is completed as usual
- The tooth is polished as usual
Please note that we may not be able to use a micro blaster for EVERY case of decay. But when it’s appropriate, it’s highly recommended!
